My Past is My Future’s Teacher

Assalamu’alaikum…
It’s been a long time I didn’t write anything here. In this special moment, I wanna share to all of you my beloved readers (if there’s anyone here, hehe) about my definition of being mature. Ok, I’ll be honest. I’m turn 25 years old today. Some people say it already old, some say it still quite young, and so on. But, whatever!

I don’t really care what people think about. Old or young, they have no connection to what I’ll discuss right now, maturity.

During these past 25 years, I have experienced so many things. The good one, the best one, the bad one, even the worst condition that I never thought would happen in my life. I made so many mistakes and yes, Allah still blessing me with His Mercy. Especially this year, Allah has given me one more chance to correct my mistakes, to change, to be a better person. Alhamdulillah.

Also this year, for the first time I got a job. A job that I never dreamed about but turn out to be the one I love the most -> A Graphic Designer. I always love design or let say it “art”. I know, I’m still far away to be a “real” Graphic Designer. But with this job, I have a chance to train my wings until they’re ready flying away. ^_^

Well, back to the topic. Being 25 years old woman (girl ^_^), I’m still the same person as before although many things have changed. My past life really gives a big impact to what I’m now. I learned how to be wiser, more responsible, more diligent, happier, and better person than before. Alhamdulillah.

Maturity is about how to make your experiences to be your best lesson and your past to be your future’s teacher.

Thanks to my parent for their love and patient, to my sisters and brother for their support, to my beloved friends for their friendship, and for all of you who’ve read this story. Special thanks to my twin, thanks for everything, Sista.  May Allah gives you all the best reward. Aamiin.

Wassalamu’alaikum... ^_^
